TESTIMONIALS

Catie O'Neill

Author of Love and Other Alien Concepts and Touch of Clandestiny

AJ has worked with me on my debut sci-fi romance novel as well as my upcoming fantasy romance novel and she was paramount to my success. Though she was meant to be a beta reader, she wound up being my developmental editor for both and I couldn't have been happier. She has a way of educating you with her feedback while still making you feel fantastic as a writer. She has such a knack for finding plot holes, recognizing what fits and doesn't fit for the time period, and for helping you transform your story into the best it can be. Some of her comments had me cracking up along the way and it was just an all around extremely pleasant experience. She has quickly become a permanent member of my team and I'd be lost without her.

About AJ

AJ Volante is an avid daydreamer, obsessive prose polisher, and gallows humor lover. She holds a dual BA in Anthropology and Near Eastern Civilizations from the University of Michigan and an MA in Museum Studies from the University of San Francisco. Her day jobs have included freelance editing, museums exhibit developing, and writing narratives for startup gaming companies.

Her true passion lies in helping authors refine their manuscripts into the strongest, clearest version of their story.

When she's not working, she's probably restoring her 1924 craftsman home and goading her partner into a third cat.
